Increase the volume of the F/O

Featured Replies

Hi!

Is there any way to increase the volume of the F/O?

Its very hard to hear him over the roar of the engines...

When i play the briefing and such, (when the captain speaks" the volume is okay... but when the F/O reads the checklist he is really low

(the volume control in the control panel of fs2crew is set to maximum.

any tips?

Hi Niklas,

There's a knob on the FS2Crew Main Panel called Volume "VOL".

Right click it with your mouse to twist the volume knob up.

Make sure you're twisting the right knob (not CAB).

Also turn your window system volume up to 100 percent.

Failing that, double check your audio drivers.

Also make sure you have the latest version:

Voice: 1.4

Button 1.5

Cheers,

Unfortunately the volume knob is turned to the max by right clicks and my system volume is at 100% the problem isnt that the system volume is low, the problem is JUST that the F/Os voice volume is low, when the captain speaks i can hear him clearly. but the F/Os voice completely dissapears in the engine noise...

And yes... Volume 1.4 is the version i use:(

Hi Nicklas,

Hmmm, tough one.

Can you please re-install your audio drivers and double check your sound setup.

If you have sound coming through your speakers, ensure that the volume for your right speaker isn't set to a low volume. Your speaker volumes may somehow be split.

If using speakers (not a headset), the FO should come out of your right speaker.

Since you said the Captain's volume is fine, I suspect this is the area to look in first.

Cheers,
