June 20, 201213 yr Hi I've recently purchased the Saitek Pro yoke and intend on using it on my 737NGX. I'm not sure whether this is a saitek yoke problem or the problem with sim, the yoke has been calibrated properly and both the yoke and rudder pedals remain nuetral and respond accurately when stationary and when airborne. All the pumps are switched on, hydraulics fine, aileron and rudder trim nuetral, the aircraft is configured properly before every flight. However during the takeoff roll or in a fast taxi the 737-800 has a tendancy to yaw right, even in calm winds. The yaw is controllable somewhat via autorudder option in realism settings, but without out it the yaw is uncontrollable without the application of the rudder pedals/nose wheel. Once airborne the aircraft responds normally with no yaw tendancies. Has anyone else had this problem with the 737NGX and with the saitek pro yoke?????? And can anyone please help me?
June 20, 201213 yr Mine did the same thing I have to unplug it and plug it back in the use the calibration in devices and printers. Run it through all it's axis's a few times and all is well. Randy Swofford

This may seem like an obvious question, but what were the winds relative to the runway during take off? George Morris
June 20, 201213 yr First off you should not be using Auto Rudder if you got a Yoke and Pedals. Why would you? That's for a stick configuration. I have the Saitek Pro Flight and the Saitek Rudder pedals. I did do the spring mod on my Yoke and it's much smoother and easier to control than the crappy springs that Saitek put in there. Do you have the registered version of FSUIPC? I removed all axis from FSX and calibrated all my Axis through FSUIPC. However it should work for FSX as well. If your using FSX for Axis then make sure you have the sensitivity set to the Max for all Axis and calibrate your controls before every flight. If none of that helps try what was suggested above and disconnect your controls and then re-calibrate. Paul Deemer
June 21, 201213 yr if you have separate throttle control for each engine, and you apply different thrust this can cause the plane to yaw. I have saitek pro flight yoke too, and when i move axis 1 and 2 together on the throttle quadrant (separate for each engine) they indicate different in the begining. I mean if 1 is 2%, then 2 is 2.1-2.2%. So i have to adjust it accourding to N1 dipslay indication, not the visual positions of the axis 1 and 2.
