So far 3h flight time with ESSELLATION set to ON and no error thanks to TrafficPilot. SteveW thanks for that suggestion I will leave it for last if other things do not help. The next step is to add "AffinityMask=14" and "OPTIMIZE_PARTS=1" and test again. I will give feedback again so other people with the same error can use this topic for help.

Thank you for the suggestion I have read all afternoon about that error and ended up with suggestions TESSELLATION to be OFF but will try your suggestion. Mine is OFF right now. My tests shows that ~1:30h in flight makes that error to happen with vPilot and ASN (lattest from forum post) on. 10 min ago I let P3D to rebuild new prepar3d.cfg and do another thest now. I will give feedback latter.

Any news about that type of CTD? Can be confirmed that it is mostly caused by OPTIMIZE_PARTS=1? I noticed that vPilot could not create vatsim traffic plane, it beeped and next I got was the crash. Could it be related?

Lets say the i5 3570k will be at 4.2GHz, what will be the RAM freq.? 1600, 1866, 2133... and so on. I mean does it goes up when CPU goes up like old E**** CPUs?

No Haswell. And not because I don't want to change MB, but thinking of getting second hand i7 instead of new i5.

Let the people with big experience say what they think. What will be the best choice for FSX with the latest add-ons (PMDG, Mega Airports and so on)? The compare will be: Sandy i7 2600k vs Ivy i7 3770k or Sandy i5 2500k vs Ivy i7 3570k Expected overclock will be arround 4.0-4.2-4.4 GHz. If you prefere i5 than i7 tell why. I've read many about the difference. One is hotter, the other is 5% more powerful but the real in-sim test is the best way to compare. So share your experience.

Hi I think this pool will be very helpful to me and everyone who has the dilemma what AI should install to get the best FPS in the sim. So the traffic will be used for online flying with FSX and FSinn client in VATSIM network. Just give me your vote

Long time ago I red a tutorial where it says the the best point to lower the gear is when on ILS (LOC already captured) and the GS is one point higher before capture.

I can confirm that "manual override" - "never" in the FMC options don't work, just like "default transition altitude" Saitek pro flight yoke with TQ.

Not sure. I didn't change anything. "Smooth Cloud Transitions" Is the only option to fly FSX without stutters and drop of frames.

I have FSX with ASE and can only use it set to "Smooth Cloud Transitions" in "Depiction Mode" settings. This gives me strange winds some time seconds before touch down. The "Standart" options makes my FSX to stutter when ASE downloads new weather. Still can't find solution for this.

atc_id=OE-LNK I found it !!! here: "C:\Users\**********\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects\PMDG 737-800NGX WL" is the file state.cfg where i found this registration G-GAVA. Now all pmdg folders will be deleted.
