Eaglesoft Citation X - Quick FMS question

Featured Replies

My question relates to what to do after the FMS is programmed. When I take off, the plane does not follow the plan setup in the FMS. I've programmed it as per the manual and the Citation X Tutorials on Youtube and still no luck. I did quite a bit of searching and found tons of info on how to setup the FMS but nothing was clear was to what to do next after its setup and I hit the TO/GA button and take off. Hitting the AP and heading buttons result in nothing happening but the plane climbing right past the altitude programmed and not turning to the heading its programmed to follow. PFD was setup as per the video and manual and nav source was set to FMS.

I figure I'm missing something but I'll be damned if I can find it in the manuals.

Any help would be appreciated as this (and the manuals) are the only things stopping me from really enjoying this plane.

Stiggie, you are member of our forums and we answer there. We do not do support at Avsim.

This ain't your typical simplified aircraft. You'll need to learn her intracacies.

Almost forgot. There are six tutorial videos on You Tube by real world CX Pilot Chad Christopher.
