installation question

hi,

i am considering AS2012 to improve the default weather in FSX.

my FSX drive has no space left so i would have to install AS2012 on a different drive. is that possible or do i have to install it on the FSX drive?

thanks!

I have AS2012 installed on E and my FSX drive is F. Should have no issues. One thing to note, if your FSX drive is mechanical and not an SSD, it seriously loses efficiency when over 50% full which will affect FSX performance. With SSD drives, they are fine up into the 90% full range.

thanks. yeah i knew about that.

i was concerned that it may install other textures into the FSX folder which may make FSX bigger (HD space i mean).

another question. isn't AS2012 installing textures into FSX? if so, wouldn't those be installed in the FSX folder?

Yes, snapshots are installed in the FSX folder (300Mb each)
