Well, its very nice scenery for 15$, but I have to admit I expected more after beautiful Hawaii scenery, and at least double price. Its a fair deal however, cannot find any nice scenery (size of alaska) for that money for FSX. In order to this work, we need serious aircraft and atmosphere. I mean, CCub is fun but not the aircraft to do any job with it.

I would have preferred a higher price for an Alaska with fewer errors, as it obviously did not have the same kind of attention to every little area that Hawaii did. On the other hand, a lower price does help grow their user-base.

If we get Jobs or Missions to off-airport locations, the Cub will be the plane of choice. It can go places the Maule simply cannot. Even some tiny airstrips are marginal for the Maule but trivial for a Cub.

It's not the plane I wanted either, but it has a place.

Considering the well over $100 maybe even close to $200 I paid for scenery and mesh and airports in Alaska for FS9 ( can't remember, it was years ago, but at years ago prices) , I think Flight is a bargain.

Absolutely, Alaska as-delivered is a great value. I'm happy with it.

I just would have been happier with a little more attention to detail, which would justify a higher price.

But coming in with a price lower than all expectations was a smart move for a fledgling product, especially one aiming at a more cost-constrained market than traditional flight sims.
