Unique airports

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Is there a way in the game of seeing which airports I've been to, or am I just going to have to write them all down? When I look at the airports on the map, I'm not seeing anything that tells me if I've been there.

Igor.

There's a way, but it's not straightforward.

There's a file in your career folder (this folder also contains the controls folder) named career.spb. This is a binary file. Make a copy of it, then open the copy in Notepad. It's all garbage, but scroll down a bit and you'll see a list of airports you've landed at. Don't work with the original file so that you don't take any chances of messing it up.

Edit: YEAH! Do what he said. The guy who wrote that really knows his stuff! :D

Thanks for the info, just what I need.

Tips : use the search engine to look for already posted informations being there or not :)

I do apologise. A search for the word "airports" does not list that one. It never occurred to me to search for airstrip.

Heck, I wrote that post and I have no idea how to search for it. It would have been even worse if you don't know what to search for.

I had to go check the file anyway. I knew that the Hawaii airports worked, but didn't know if the Alaska ones did. Looks like they all show up on that one list.

I just typed the title of this thread : "unique airport" in the search engine above to find your post Hook, but maybe I'm used to search engine (journalist was one of my life )
