  2. Is @Jean-Luc from RxP ? I'll drop him a message then 🙂 Just for a user experience : it is bloody hard to know who/ where/ how to contact them : the F1 support page is absolutely useless to point you to the right direction... I think a kind of from would be simplier, where F1 system could send that to the right customer support... They are the shop after all. And about the "bloody wrapper", would be nice that there is an XPlane section well separated from the FS section, AND some CLEAR NAMES ON THE APPS (and not just nice FS / XP images in the wrapper). EDIT : reading my post I can see it could be taken as a "word not allowed off customer" one that is NOT THE CASE, I would just suggest some ergonomics 😉

Ok, I just recently (2 days ago) made a purchase of (presumed) RxP GTN 750 for XP11 BUT ended with the wrong bloody e-shop wrapper, and WITH THE WRONG PRODUCT : what I bought is the one for FSX/ P3D... So question : I can of course cancel my order from my bank, but it would be a lot easier for me just to get the GTN 750 for XP11 instead of the one for FS... What should I do, who should I contact, please ?? Best regards
  4. The Curtiss P40 Warhawk will certainly be a nice addition to the GA-only hangar we already have, and it will be interresting to see how the flight model can cope with high speed props ! BlueskyFS is a new name for me, so first I think it's nice to welcome a new studio in the community. I will reserve any judgement till there is anything to test, but the small teaser above seems nice for what we can tell. I wish them the best ! I'm not particularly into warbirds (nor am I in modern jetliners btw), but any new features that are added to FSW seems good to me. Interrested to know if there will be any "tak-pak" of some sort for FSW in the future, when there is enought addons for that...

  6. Funny thing, the guy complaining to Cryss was me :p There were then more people in the chat mentionning that the problem was not corrected. As I do not recall having seen that in the patch notes, I was thinking it was just postponed as a minor bug. The fact is : if I run FSW multiples times in the same windows / Steam session (I will have to check if it is Steam-only session or windows session -related), I don't have to retype my login/ pw. But if I start a fresh session, I will have to type my login/ pw again...
  7. I was the one who said that FSW use both wings separately for the sim, having heard Stephen Hood saying this I think in FlightSimCon, just haven't searched the source again to be honest. Lazy an all.. I think to remember that it may be in one of Steve Hood"s interviews from a flightsimmer/ youtuber (Helisim ? Novawing24 ?). About spins in FSW, I tested some stunts with the Cub recently in multi with a pilot friend, and I was able to do spins t the right conditions, like a flat stall spin, a max AoA spin... I have been a passenger in a cub used for towing in a glider club where I used to fly sometimes (in France, where I'm from), and the pilot was fun enought to pull some stunts on me, and just to say I have had a flashback of those moments while having fun with the Super Cub from FSW, TrackIR on ! I am thinking on buying me one of those "pressure seats" that inflate to simulate the Gs movements, I really hope DTG will support it :)

A small correction, but quite important : P3D still calculates the flight model exactly as did FSX : ONE flight box is going through one or more tables that have been filled with datas from real planes (normally). FSW does the same :reading tables, still no prediction like Laminar Research. BUT if the legacy ESPs (FSX, FSX-SE, P3D all versions) use only one wing to make the output from the table, FSW is using TWO WINGS ; the flight model in FSW is twice more precise for default plane (if tables are right of course) than the same plane would be in P3D. You may get back to browling :p

  10. I'd say that maybe it would be interresting for both sides to partner with Dovetail Games in order to make the best damn flight sim ever (pun intended !), but I really don't know if it's possible... Anyway I'm keeping an eye on both projects !
  11. Dovetail Games is busy working on the next update to TS2015, I guess after that we'll get news both from FSX Steam Edition and the partnership for addons, and Flight of course ! I really hope DTG has secured servers on Steam for Flight. So we can share the TBD new content that Stonelance's work will bring to our little community ! Courage to all
  12. The idea to have to unlock items is very welcome from me Your suggestion of simulated bush flying by setting a max altitude, or a reasonnably technical water landing with some fragile cargo in an imposed weather theme, anything that could bring people to get more Flight time !
  13. Yaye, another one on the exact same subject as above Mork, you could have donbe a bit of effort in reading the lines before you drop yours, talking about respect... Yes it is a shame what Ms have done to Flight, letting a good game/ simulator in middle of its grow go down like this, WE ALL KNOW ! The question you have about MS Flight you can answer just by starting it. You have post only one question that is totally up to you for the answer !!! The modding scene is at its start, you have the resume of what is done by Stonelance and MVGibbage in this very post if you take time to read it as I've done.

  17. As I said above twice :-P there is a free FSX version of GMap that has the same "widget" interface, and anoter one from which you can change the size of the window, so I don't think so... It would be nice to just have this interface for the Ms Flight version...
  18. Oh Dburne I already know about the AHK script My question is : GMap has some fsx version that can be used in full screen, but not the MS Flight version. I'd like to open gmap for Flight in full screen on my second monitor, the 400*600 (yes I exagerate ) or so GMap window is too often too small for a good use, even if I cannot start my MS Flight without it
  19. There is no right heading of the icon in GMap if you remove the Head Up Display (means the big white bug tracker on top of the screen), whatever the moment you start GMap... Anybody found any solution to have GMap for Flight the same way that the one for FSX : FULLSCREEN ??

If you need some game profiles, you can go to the official website ; or you also can try an internet search in forums, I found that many specialized forums often have a genius about setting Tir for the right game... There are some profiles meant to keep a "large" deadzone that are already set, like the one called GTL Flat-slow. Modifying this one can also be a start for Flight if you need less movement detection
  21. I must say when I was offered a TrackIR4 few years ago I thought wow, what an expense of money for THAT ?? But I have a disabled right arm, and my oh my, there are many games I use it for now !! It started with TDU and FSX, then to Race07, rFactor, TDU2, I even got it worked in a modded version of Oblivion, and many other games... Now I can't run Euro Truck Sim 2, Evochron Mercenary nor Flight without it, it would kill my immersion In some games like Flight, I don't use it all the time, mostly when lateral quick views are necessary (take-off & landing, patrols, fly-by...). The good thing is that it is quick to (de)activate, easy to use with good profiles available for it, easy to configure your own profile in few clics...

I can count up to 9 addon liveries packs that you amazing people made available for us (the lazy ones ). - A-LOHA Icon -Avsim Cub - Basix_Cubs - Carbon_Alaska_Wild_Flight - Carbon_Blue - Goblin Cub Final - stearman livery - White Cub - Zero night livery It would be nice and convenient for advertising your work to have all of them in the same place !
  23. Maybe it would be possible to extract informations from Flight and inject that on a kind of overlay, likle what GMap widget is doing. That plus the "fake cockpit" trick could be the bare minimum... Another "easy" trick would be to substitute another cockpit already built-in, and make the game believe cockpitless planes would be "Deluxe"... I don't think M$ would agree to that ?
