July 11, 201213 yr Hello, I bought this aircraft about a month or two ago, and it was fine up until now. I can fly the default House PMDG texture, but when I use the livery and install a new texture, it wont let me use the plane. I'll post a video explaining my problem. PMDG 737 Texture Problem Video Thank you!
July 11, 201213 yr I think it happens cause you load a PMDG plane on top of a PMDG plane which has been mentioned numerous times that is not good for FSX. Try to load a plane with texture other than the default directly from the FSX 'Free Flight' screen. If you're in flight and want to change livery you must exit the flight (or FSX to make sure) and then load from scratch... George Golas ---------------------- I hate gravity!
July 12, 201213 yr What George said. Also, WAIT until the initialization is done before doing anything, including changing views and zooming out like you did . i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

It loads into the game fine, but it doesnt start the initializing at all. I have tried uninstalling the textures and re-installing them, but no good. Its funny because it used to work fine up until recent times. Thank you EDIT: Even when I try loading the livery first, then the regular house textured PMDG, the livery still will not load but the default house one will.
July 12, 201213 yr I really cannot see how a livery can affect the functionality of the aircraft. As far as I know there are some liveries that also include airline specific options, but this is far from what you describe! I can't think of any reason that can cause the initialisation process not to start other than a corrupt installation. For a start you can try a repair installation and if this doesn't work you can uninstall and reinstall NGX. In any case you must avoid loading one plane over the other. This is 100% guaranteed that will not work! George Golas ---------------------- I hate gravity!
July 12, 201213 yr I really don't know what is causing you problem. Perhaps you should consider visiting the pmdg portal and submitting a support ticket about the issue. However what I will say is stop using the dx10 preview mode. All that texture flickering you are seeing on your ground textures and the blue loading cockpit will go away if you turn it off. Frankly dx10 preview mode is junk and does not really work properly. Regards. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
