Dark cockpits for everyone?

Featured Replies

Ok I figured out how to get my "default flight" to start at a hanger completely dead. But is there a way to globally set that for every aircraft?

Yes - there is -- Open a flight, set it as you like (including location and everything...) then save it as the default flight. There you go!

ok. Thank you for that. But as I said "...Ok I figured out how to get my "default flight" to start at a hanger completely dead..". I'm looking to make this a global setting that would apply to any and all aircraft regardless of where you start from (active or hanger/gate) Although it'd be nice if hanger/gate = dark & cold. Active = running & rdy-2-roll. But it's sounding more and more like a "wish features" for the next release. Another thing, if it's "heavy thunderstorm" or totally over cast, why do I have severe shadows caused by a sun that is totally obscured by clouds. While I'm on a roll, if it's 100% over cast, why can I see the ground once I get above the cloud level. Optically polarized cloud cover?? I don't think I'm just being picky here. These are kinda big over sights IMO. <-- opinions / feedback.back to the point, does anyone know how to globally make aircraft be "dark & cold"

If you start an aircraft dark and cold and switch to another aircraft, it should be dark and cold also..
