Default DC3 Livery not showing up question.

Featured Replies

Hello All

I am no novice when it comes to installing new liveries for aircraft ,however I do have a problem with one particular livery (United Airlines ) in that it won't show up in my selection screen. I have loads for the DC3 ie KLM, WESTERN,MOHAWK, ALGERIAN. etc etc These are fine.

I have examined carefully the CFG entry for this UAs paint comparing with the others (sometimes incorrect CFG entries can cause no shows for re-paints) but for the life of me I can see no discrepancies .

I have sixteen different paints for the default DC3 by the way (its this number seventeen that's not showing) I think I am right in believing there are no limits to the number of re-paints you may have.

Anyways any thoughts appreciated

cheers to all

Andy

Hi Andy. You are nowhere near the limit as far as liveries goes. If you would care to send me a copy of your aircraft configuration file I'll be happy to look it over. I myself have gone through stuff like this - something hiding in plain sight possibly. If you are interested PM me, I'll send you my email address so you can email it to me. Alternately I suppose you could simply copy the aircraft entry section here so you get more input than just from me.

Thanks for your offer of help.

Here is the relevant aircraft paints section of the (Default fs9) DC3 .

The offending paint is the last one, Num17. Texture UAL

All other paints are all available for use.

I trust your texture file-type is .UAL.

Colin

Your suggestion worked!

I am usually quite good at getting errant paints to display by checking for cfg errors ,but not in this case , I missed this.

Thank you very much indeed.

That's OK Mel.

I am sure you would have spotted the CFG error as well.

Cheers to you.
