Three unrelated Q's

Featured Replies

I thought I'd chunk them all together...

I've been flying NGX since it was released, and two of the questions I've never found an answer for.

Let's start with my recent Q:

With the new 1207 navdata cycle some procedures are messed up... take for example, the PEBLE3 off KSAN. If you load the DP you'll see a loop-d-loop off the departure end. Has anyone seen this and what can be done about it? I ended up flying it manually for that leg.

#2: Upon rollout with autobrakes set to 2, then manually breaking, I'm getting a lot of sloppiness, mainly I'm pulling to one side when I try to brake. Is this because of the brake temps? They aren't too bad from the readout though.

#3: How do I enter an alternate airport? I've tried this many times and it will never "take." Say I'm headed to DEN from MSP... and I want to land at LBF North Platte instead of DEN. Is there a laymen's guide to alternates?

2. Check your pedal calibration.

According to the Navigraph Support Forum there is a new version of AIRAC 1207 because of an issue. Perhaps Rev. 3 is the answer to question 1?

#3 goto RTE 1 and change destination. There is no 2nd Flight Plan or direct way of saying go to the alternate. You just change the destination.

The RTE defaults to pg2 when in flight, so you must go Prev Page to get there.

My pedals work great with other planes. It's only when I use autobrakes and then disengage them that I get the pulling to one side.

Where is this rev #3? I just bought the airac cycle yesterday.

Thanks, I was probably trying to enter on page 2...
