July 24, 201213 yr Realism aside, remember that PMDG did not model icing effects (like flight dynamic changes or visible ice layers) because of the way FSX does them. From memory it wasn't visually modelled on the NGX because they are limited by animations, which the icing effect requires. the J41 consumes much less animations which is why it has the icing effect along with others (rain effect etc).
