July 22, 201213 yr I had both installed in the P46T in the old computer but when I try in the new Jetline the 530 installs but the 430 has no screen on the pop up and the one in the VC panel says it won't work. The 430 is working fine in other Carenado aircraft. This is the only one I've ever had both in, and it's not a big deal to me, but strange never the less.
July 22, 201213 yr This is what the panel.cfg should look like: //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit02] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=1024,1024 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$Panel_2 gauge00=WX_Gauge_3D_P46T!WXGauge, 9,9,492,309 //gauge01=GPS_530_3D_P46T!gps_500, 7,337,493,358 gauge02=Radio_P46T!RadioAdf, 524,670,496,100 //gauge03=GPS_430_3D_P46T!GNS430_nc2, 517,259,497,258 ........etc //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit04] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=1024,1024 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$Panel_4 gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530, 12,337,493,358 gauge01=rxpGNS!GNS430, 515,260,497,258 Send me a PM if you cannot make it work! Bert
July 22, 201213 yr Author Okay, I failed to say in the body of my question that it's the RXP 530 & 430 I've installed via the installer that came with the P46T. The RXP GNS530 works, the 430 does not. Maybe I need to mess around with Vcockpit02 a bit. On mine the units not in use are listed as shown below with a ; after the = mark instead of // before the gauge...: [Vcockpit02] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=1024,1024 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$Panel_2 gauge00=rxpWX500!RDR, 9,9,492,309 gauge01=;GPS_530_3D_P46T!gps_500, 7,337,493,358 gauge02=Radio_P46T!RadioAdf, 524,670,496,100 gauge03=;GPS_430_3D_P46T!GNS430_nc2, 517,259,497,258 gauge04=DIGTTRANS_P46T!transponder, 516,529,501,126 gauge05=Radio_P46T!RadioTrans, 520,126,496,112 gauge06=Radio_P46T!RadioAudio, 520,8,498,98 gauge07=GAUGEP46T!Gauge_Anum_R, 381,786,635,229 gauge08=GAUGEP46T!Gauge_Engine_Trend, 14,711,299,298
July 24, 201213 yr With mine, I used the Carenado installer to give me the right locations for the RXP's but I used the RXP installer to give me the correct RXP.cfg file. the RXP.cfg is what runs the RXP's in the sim. to the best of my knowledge, the Carenado software does not write to this file. July 25, 201213 yr Yeah, I was at the office and couldn't remember exatly what it was called. Branton Turner
July 25, 201213 yr Was just informed that this problem was fixed with a new install of the GNS units, which is a reminder that if you switch to a new computer, you cannot simply copy over these gauges, but you you have to re-download/re-install them. Bert
