Trying to reinstall - activation problem

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

I submitted a ticket to PMDG and purchased a re-download service for the NGX base package and after recieveing the permission to re-download I have downloaded and isntalled but now I am trying to activate it using the key I got in the email about the extended download service and I am getting the error message:

"The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceeded. [incident# 5021-082414]

Please help, what should I do?

Kind Regards,

Dan

I love their planes but hate their installs  if your hardware changed since your purchase then u need to advise PMDG.

You can't do better than submit a support ticket. I've found Paul and Ryan to be very helpful. You certainly won't get their kind of expertise here on the forum.

Hardware? Nothing regarding my computer has changed...

i added a little $20 USB DRIVE to my pc and i needed permission to re-install the NGX  PMDG advised me to contact them again if I add or remove hardware from my pc.

I haven't added/removed any hardware from my PC so I don't think that can be the problem

It's in the readme file:

UNINSTALL NOTES:

================

If you need to uninstall the PMDG 737-800/900 or any other PMDG Simulations

product, please run this installer again and select the REMOVE option.

Also, you can use the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS item in your Windows Control Panel.

DO NOT MANUALLY DELETE FILES FROM YOUR MACHINE. (we warned you!)

You will still have a PMDG folder present if you have other PMDG addons installed.

If this folder is empty, then go ahead and delete it.

Ccleaner is good anyway, clears up install history and any directory problems :)
