August 14, 201213 yr Hey, So I am getting multiple migranes attempting to install addon liveries to the B1900C. I have correctly installed into my FSX folder and the PMDG House livery is starting to get old. And the program to add the livery is as clear as fog! Where do I choose to put the livery!? I have tried the texture folder, the PMDG B1900C Express, Airplanes, SimObjets, and the main FSX folder and the livery is NOWHERE. I need help........
August 14, 201213 yr Why would adding textures be any different that any other FSX aircraft? Look in the opening screen. Aircraft. PMDG Beechcraft
August 14, 201213 yr Author There is no cfg. file with the PMDG 1900 addon livery. (i.e. The Fedex, when the program starts, it asks you to choose a file to install the texture, when you choose the b1900c file it installes the texture file only.) Try it as an exeriment, creat a file that is called fs9 in the Microsoft games folder, then download a Pmdg B1900C livery and choose the fs9 file as the destination file.
August 15, 201213 yr Automated installer routines work by adding the livery folder to the aircraft's folder and modifying the aircraft cfg file. That worked perfectly well for Windows XP, but Windows Vista and 7 with UAC turned "on" can create problems in that they often will not allow files to be modified. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
September 3, 201213 yr Well, I guess no one has a simple instruction for adding a livery. The above comments didn't help me one bit. Do you suppose that there may be a simple instruction written somewhere? If so, where can I find it? Don Baker
