  1. may be in the intro. and may be an option, but mine is there in the 739 and it's opted off. How 'bout that?
  2. Sounds to me like he's using two monitors and the second monitor is where he is placing his FMC. I have had this happen when the resolution was not correct on the second monitor. Just sayin'.
  3. Ok. I shudda known. Thanx for the clarification. Works just like my old 18 wheeler.
  4. I'm not trying to hijack this post, but I have been getting the same thing. I just noticed it recently. I generally fly out of Denver, CO. That is where I first noticed it. I'll be watching this post for results. Incidentally, it's the Hydraulics that I'm talking about and not the fuel.
  5. It's just like an excellent company to be on the spot with honest, intellegent communication. That sure makes for confidence in the products and people involved. Thank you.
  6. Mine will do that too. I just turn off the screen saver. Works everytime.
  7. Next time you have to perform this function, download Revo Uninstaller. It will totally clean your system as needed. I think they have a trial period at no cost. Blessings
  8. Well, look at my picture on the left. That's in a B737-300 Southwest Airlines. I asked if it was ok to take a picture in the cockpit and the pilot agreed and told me to sit in his seat. He asked me for my phone/camera and took that picture. Then he squatted down and explained the overhead, etc to me. This was in Tulsa between flights, (turn around). I've also done the same on several flights. On one flight they were ready to begin preflight ops and shut the cabin door with me still there. I just shut up, realizing it was sterile cockpit time. They let me out after the checklist readings. I was told then that I could stay in the jump seat during the flight only if I was a certified pilot. A lot of fun. Enjoy you trip and God bless you.
  9. I just tried to download the 737-8900 paintkit and the same happened to me. Only 218MB and corrupt. The 6700 fully downloaded though and was good. Beats me what's going on, but IT IS going on.
  10. They will probably have it out tomorrow. (evening)

  19. I've got my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed for this one...
  20. Steve, It's possible that "Revo uninstaller" could help. They have a free sample for you to download and try. I've been using it for years and it is an excellent program. I, of course, don't know how it might work for you with this particular incident, but worth a try and you'll love Revo. Let me know what happens.
  21. Here is the response I got when I had the same problem some while back. This problem is likely caused by the corruption of FSX's dll.xml file. Please attach the file to a reply and we'll take a look at it for you. They fixed it in a heartbeat. Hope this helps.
  22. Rue the days of instant gratification.
  23. He's the fastest, isn't he?
  24. Thanx for sharing that info. I am happy for you and hope you enjoy flight simming for the rest of your natural life.
