August 17, 201213 yr Is anyone using the Track IR5 in the 737, and if so, how are they liking it? Does it help very much getting to overhead panels and whatnot? Thanks, Glenn Davy
August 17, 201213 yr Can't fly it without it. It doesn't get any better than having these two together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk William Sequeira
August 17, 201213 yr Hi Glenn, I found TIR5 very helpfull in all the cockpits, not just the NGX. I like it much better then the default eyepoint movment of the sim Sagi Yanay, VATIL NGX Driver
August 18, 201213 yr I used to fly in the VC and then use 2D panels for CDU and the overhead panel. Did this for the Super 80 pro, the Maddog, the LevelD 767, the PMDG 747, all the addons. Then I got TrackIR right before the NGX came out, and it changed how I fly now. Along with EZDok. Now I NEVER use 2d panels. I just can look or switch the camera in the VC to the overhead or the CDU. And for taxi, take off, approaches and landings, TrackIR is amazing. makes flying visual so much more emersive. To be able to look out the windows and find the field, to get that sense of the surroundings. I wont go and say it is neccessary. Because that would be a lie. I flew in FSX for years before I got TrackIR. But it is an amazing addition to the experience. I recommend TrackIR/EZdok to everyone who enjoys VC flying. even if EZDok is a total pain in the you know what, coupled with TrackIR it adds so much to the experience. August 18, 201213 yr Just literally installed trackir today, I would definitely say get EZDOK to go alongside it. Trackir + Ezdok = flight sim heaven!
