September 1, 201213 yr Author Had a chance to look around ... Asuncion is a small airport by international standards yet it has character and this has been captured in spades by Taxi2Gate. Once AES is invoked I can see many flights in the TAM liveried Fokker 100 by Digital Aviation using Asuncion as the hub with airports in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay as the spokes.
September 1, 201213 yr I can see many flights in the TAM liveried Fokker 100 by Digital Aviation Sorry for going a bit off topic, mate, but I would like to say that it is very nice to see another fan of the great addon which Digital Aviation Fokker is. Oh, how I wish they made the promised virtual cockpit. After many many years of flying 2D I became a VC pilot two years ago and there is no way back for me. I installed the Fokker last month because I miss it so much. But after one flight it was clear to me I cannot fly in a non-3D environment anymore. Anyway thanks for your headsup on Asuncion.
September 1, 201213 yr Author Oh, how I wish they made the promised virtual cockpit. Rafal this has been my ONLY real disappointment in simming. Like many first day purchasers I was taken in by this promise, after all Hans Hartmann was involved ...he of the Aerosoft-published Eurowings Pro (BAE-146, ATR and AirBus), Dornier DO-27 and sublime Aeroworx Super King Air B200 not to mention that great utility SCM2004. We are still waiting notwithstanding Aerosoft's assurances. Look what happened to them with the CRJ. I'm afraid we'll be waiting until hell freezes over. Even now that I am retired I find insufficient time to devote to my hangar which has recently been expanded by the PMDG MD-11. In fact I am in a quandary of my own making ... with all the aircraft, with all the fabulous payware sceneries ... how to decide what and where to fly! So overwhelming. Sometimes I wish I just had a plain vanilla FS9 again ... well sometimes.
