September 7, 201213 yr Author Found out It was "Audio Environment Airliner Edition" that caused the problem. Solved It with a reinstall of FSX.
September 7, 201213 yr Thanks for posting your solution. A reinstall of FSX is usually the last thing you want to ever do especially if you have a lot of addons. The 'event' or crash report from Microsoft provides a lot of clues regarding a crash. The faulting module is the best clue. Did you try to uninstall the AE Airliner Edition to see if that fixed the problem? As I recall I had this problem too and the program still sits in my hangar waiting for reinstallation. September 8, 201213 yr Author Didn't try uninstalling Audio environment, I didn't even think of that.(Stupid as I am sometimes ) I wish I'd tried that, now that I have reinstalled everything I'm holding back on Audio Environment because I'm a little afraid that It will happen again  Maybe It would have fixed the issue but now I will never know. Yeah and reinstalling FSX was a nightmare addons after addons for endless hours, phew, hope I never ever have to do that again
September 8, 201213 yr Yes, that should be the last option, reinstalling. I try to hold off until I update my system, about every three years. So far I'm good to go.
