The Freedom Tower (1wtc) was topped out just a month after Flight was cancelled. Would've been nice to see that NYC was modeled before it was cancelled. Doesn't the new wtc stand for that America is rising again? Yes I'm posting on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, but the idea just came into my head.

 

I also know that Flight probably won't be revived. Just posting to say that it would've been nice if...

I think we would all love to see NYC in a new sim with modern graphics. I saw recently somebody had transported Aerosofts Manhattan into Xplane10 and it looked pretty nice!

I really dont understand your post. Are you saying that you have information that the next DLC area would be New York? I dont even know what the next DLC area was! Would of been great to fly around New York in Flight. It seems the engine was able to handle city scapes a LOT better then FSX was. Seattle is a slide show for me in FSX!!!!

That was my initial understanding too, but he probably meant to say: "If only MS had decided to cancel Flight after the release of NYC as DLC, which may or may not have been in the near future".

BTW, on a recent but not so powerful laptop with all settings maxed, Honolulu in Flight isn't exactly a slide show, but one does loose a bit of the fluency. But still a lot better than FSX
