Can someone please translate to a non IT-language what is causing this error?

Getting really sick and tired of not having completed my last 6 attempts of a VATSIM flight because of this error...

I know what you mean about getting a simplier explanation. This is a common error and, if you do a Google search for HRESULT: 0xC000014B you will see there are several fellow flight simmers with this issue. Most likely a FSX addon did not install correctly. You may also be missing the proper versions of dotnet framework software which developers install with their application to make the software run properly. It also manages the memory for the program. It is impossible to tell which piece of software caused the crash from the report above. The best recommendation I can give you is to do the Google search and see how others fixed the problem. You might see something that sounds familiar to your situation.

 

I recommend you also go to the following site - http://www.nirsoft.net/ - and download App Crash View and see if there is any other information in those crash reports that might give us a hint as to what software, what gauge, what effect, caused the crash.

 

Let's hope you won't have to reinstall FSX and the addons.
