Another bouncer, The Carenado C337

I would have thought that after finding out that so many of their planes have a bouncing problem, the issue would be paid more attention. It bounces so much it reminds me of a rodeo I attended las summer. Will a patch be forthcoming soon??

If anyone has a solution please post, thanks!!!

Pilot error! I have never had a problem with a Carenado aircraft bouncing.

Are you talking about the FS9 or FSX version? I ask because the FS9 C337 was recently released.

Have you reported your problem to Carenado?

If you're flying FS9, the "Bouncing Issues" patch they have on their "Updates" section doesn't include the C337. If you haven't, you need to contact Carenado using their support ticket system. That way, you can get your problem fixed AND you may initiate actions on Carenado's part that can help others.

If you're flying FSX, the landing data is included with the 337 sim, so use that as your reference for your approach and especially your "short final" speeds. Of course, pay attention to the environmental conditions that are listed with each category in the landing data card.

If you still experience bouncing despite flying the proper airspeed and aircraft configuration (flaps, weight considerations, etc.), then go around and attempt another landing.

During the next landing, either record the instrument panel it if you have the capability or pause it when it begins bouncing. Take a screenshot of the instrument panel and send it to me via PM. We can go from there.

I agree that this is pilot error if you're flying FSX. If you're flying FS9, you need to get with Carenado. They are pretty good at doing the right thing to support folks through their ticket system, IMHO.

Hope it helps.

Hi Mark, I fly FS9, and I reported the problem to carenado, although it seems that there are several people experiencing that problem as their facebook page mentions the problem:

Oswaldo Neto Wow the model is absolutely amazing.

Unfortunately I´ve never had the oportunity to see

this plane face to face, since in Brasil it´s not

common to see C337 in the sky. However when i loaded

i was surprised, how big is this plane.

I like the Cessnas´s panel layout and C337H is my favorite.

Perfect to VFR and short fields, it´s a plane to explore the world

of flight simulator :)

Good work on Virtual Cockpit, in my option the most important part of

any aircraft. The flight dynamics looks good, but i need some flights to

test it.

Some issue relate to bouncing during taxi and takeoff already reported

to Carenado staff.

Hope to get it fixed. At present there is an update, but only addresses textures and other items.

Thanks for your help!!!!
