September 20, 201213 yr Not able to build and would like opinions on companies like cyberpower or ibuypower...they look related. Any experience with them or other good quality company appreciated. Budget will be around $1200 thanks Bill
September 21, 201213 yr Just as FSX was being released I ordered a system from CyberpowerPC. Has it really been that long ago?? If you choose your parts wisely you can get a decent system. The only problem I had was not getting all the case fans for the system. After a few requests I went to ResellerRatings (?) and posted a review. Strangely, the FedEx truck showed up a few days later unannounced and left a box. Inside? The missing case fans! When I installed them there was a scraping noise, which led me to believe the CyberpowerPC intentionally left them out. But the system performed OK for almost four years until the MOBO died. Nothing to fault CyberpowerPC for. If they have survived this long as a business, they must be keeping enough people happy.
September 21, 201213 yr There are people who would be happy to walk you through putting one together. It really is ridiculously easy. However if you just don't want to, which I can understand, I think both companies have decent computers. Randy Swofford
