September 20, 201213 yr I want to install FSX on a different computer than the one I currently have it installed on, my question is, is there any file I can backup so that I don't lose any of my awards, or my logbook? Or is that completely impossible, I'll have to re-do all the missions and everything? Thanks
September 20, 201213 yr Just make a copy of your entire "My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\" folder vatsim s3
September 22, 201213 yr All that's in there are my saved flights, saved settings and my logbook Would that include the awards and the finished missions?
September 22, 201213 yr look for something like c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\microsoft\FSX and backup the complete folder. Contains all the settings, controls, awards and what not! Switchboard - Track Your Simulator Add-ons - Throttle Quadrant
September 22, 201213 yr Okay, found that, but there are two different FSX folders, one under local and one under roaming in appdata, which one should I save, or should I just save both?
September 22, 201213 yr You need the one in the Roaming folder. In there you can find GrantedRewards.BIN and your FSX.CFG.
