3770k or 2700k?

 Did a quick check on my setup. I do have C1E enabled. Sorry about that. All other C State are disabled.

I use offset to set voltage.

Do you use ivy bridge? 3770k? Please tell me your multiplikator and vcore offset. I just want to compare. The silly thing is that most of the time I get the gdiplus.dll module failure with a ctd. When I go higher with vcore I have less crashes. But I do not understand how this is related to each other.

Hi your Voltage seems much to high for 4.7GHZ

For Asus boards look this OVC guide:

Yesterday I did A 3 hours flight with 4.7Ghz and an offset off 0.095

And I think the voltage can be lower.

Cheers tom

Offset is not a voltage! What is a measured voltage under stress?

Hello Word Not Allowed of course not - the voltage under 1h OCCT stress test was round 1.35VCORE. With FSX I do not know in the moment. Just now I try an FSX flight with an offset of 0.060 which was ok under 1h OCCT with 1.32VCORE. I installed new RAM with 2400mhz and need to know what happens. I will post the result.

Kind Regards Tom

As I promised the short report of a flight from Helsinki to Bremen / NGX 800WL. Aktive Sky, UT, UTraffic. The flight went very well with 4.7GHZ Ivy Bridge 3.7 OVC. The VCORE was with FSX always around 1.288 - 1.296. The temps aleays between 35°C - 65°C. I used on this flight GSkill, 8GB, 2400MHZ Ram. Normaly I use 16GB Corsair - for Xplane with a lot of fototextures. Framerates, with AS and a very cloudy sky, with nearly everything as described in Kostas Tutorial, are in Helsinki (new Aersoft scenery) 24-26fps - in Bremen 29+ with Limiter on 30.

I reached this goal cause my Air-Child friend Zeljko found an OVC guide for Ivy Bridge using an Asus motherboard, not exactly mine but similar. I followed this guide precisely. There was one setting I could not find in the tutorial inside DIGI CONTROL the "CPU POWER RESPONSE CONTROL" As it is recommended in other tutorials to set this to maximum for high OVC I did this. I hope I did not nothing wrong. With the CPUPLL setting of 1.70 I only changed the vcore offset down to 0.060 with what I got the results from above.

Here is the guide:

Cheers Tom
