September 25, 201213 yr For a future update, if the SDK permits, is it possible when on final, landing config set, for the FO to spell the wind regularly, like in real life ? For instance, 4 kt from the right, or 2 kt tailwind, etc etc. It could be read from the PROG Page 2 in the NGX I think. Would be great to have this feature for every aircraft if possible. September 26, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi Stephane, That data isn't currently available via the SDK. What airline makes that call? That's not in the Boeing FCOMs. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 26, 201213 yr Author I don't think it's in the FCOM but, it is common practice in cockpits to help the PF to correct the heading for the crosswind. Other possible callouts are during a Non Precision Approach, the PNF will say the minimum altitude for some waypoints during the final approach segment (reading the approach chart) to help the PF and to check if the aircraft is on the correct "slope".
