Wind check

Recommended Posts

For a future update, if the SDK permits, is it possible when on final, landing config set, for the FO to spell the wind regularly, like in real life ? For instance, 4 kt from the right, or 2 kt tailwind, etc etc. It could be read from the PROG Page 2 in the NGX I think. Would be great to have this feature for every aircraft if possible.

I don't think it's in the FCOM but, it is common practice in cockpits to help the PF to correct the heading for the crosswind. Other possible callouts are during a Non Precision Approach, the PNF will say the minimum altitude for some waypoints during the final approach segment (reading the approach chart) to help the PF and to check if the aircraft is on the correct "slope".
