A friend of mine, who is not a computer techie, and unfortunately I didn't have time and living a bit far away to just jump over, had to repair his CPU fan, as it died and he had to continue his work.

I've had to rig up fan mounts like that in the past but I find the best option is to use a few zip ties now, especially if you have two fans in push/pull, then you can just zip tie them to each other and they just hold each other in place.

I actually used construction paper to mount a ventilation duct to my 580 a few months ago... :lol:
