October 3, 201213 yr Hi, I've got some sad news, 6 people have died in a DH-84 Dragon which crashed near the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane in Australia. It was spotted on Monday circling above suburbs, looking as if the pilot needed to land somewhere. The pilot was Des Porter, who had been saved from a DH-84 crash when he was 11. It's really sad that a flight back from an airshow ended so tragically. :( RIP all 6 on board. Thanks, Kevin L
October 3, 201213 yr What a shame, my condolences to the pilot and all those who lost their lives, always sad when things like that happened. And sad to see another historic bird in ruins, I had a chance to fly a Dragon there twice this year under instruction, a real nice aircraft, so old, made from wood. Not many of them left around the globe now at this stage. Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
