As most of you have probably noticed, the Avsim crew recently posted a call to help a fellow flightsimmer in need on the site's front page. I am that "downed pilot" and in the past couple of days have witnessed an outpouring of kindness and generosity that that at times is hard to fully comprehend. I have always known that the flightsim community (and I stress that word) is made up of some of the most incredible people I have ever known but to be on the receiving end of this puts it in a whole new perspective.

 

More than ever, I know that I am indeed wealthy beyond imagination in friends, both whom I have met and whom I have yet to but if the true definition of a family is people who are there for you when you need them, this community is indeed my family. I thank every one of you and hope that someday I might be there for you.

 

I also have to take the opportunity to thank Tom Allensworth publicly for his very generous support and help.
