This comes from my hospital bed a couple of days after surgery to replace the hardware that began this saga. I'm still a bit too medicated and woozy to trust how much sense I might make but the outpourung of support and kind words from those like Capt. Randazzo and the rest of this amazing community have meant more than I or my wife could ever possibly express. I thank every single one of you! Tony.

As most of you have probably noticed, the Avsim crew recently posted a call to help a fellow flightsimmer in need on the site's front page. I am that "downed pilot" and in the past couple of days have witnessed an outpouring of kindness and generosity that that at times is hard to fully comprehend. I have always known that the flightsim community (and I stress that word) is made up of some of the most incredible people I have ever known but to be on the receiving end of this puts it in a whole new perspective. More than ever, I know that I am indeed wealthy beyond imagination in friends, both whom I have met and whom I have yet to but if the true definition of a family is people who are there for you when you need them, this community is indeed my family. I thank every one of you and hope that someday I might be there for you. I also have to take the opportunity to thank Tom Allensworth publicly for his very generous support and help. I've also found that setting the power to about 20% and using the condition levers rather than the power levers allows for a fairly civilized taxi and I mormally only have to brake for turns or stops.

One thing to note is that the visual and flight models were created by Aeroplane Heaven and are excellent. The major problems (and there are still many) lie in the cockpit/avionics which were done by a separate developer. It is unfortunate that most of this product is very good and the fact that it went on the market with so many as yet unaddressed bugs is troubling.

I know this is a late response but I just came across it.You need to activate any new additions to the "Addon Scenery" folder before FSX will recognize them
