LFLB – Chambéry Aix les Bains, well worth getting the airport:

Taking advantage of the sale prices, I also got Alsace VFR:

and thought: what the heck, go for the whole mesh while you're at it.

This gets pretty detailed in places

which leads one to Courcheval to see if it fits - it does

but with an anomaly, which I had before the mesh: a large hole under the ski lift.

I wondered if anyone else has this and/or a fix?

Get that problem all the time.....its an elevation error in the mesh.

Area wide errors produce depressions or mesas

Single point errors produve a spere.

FS Global has a flattening tool for their mesh

Also your storage thruput may not be adequate for PHOTO scenery....need about 160 MB/s or you get blurry textures.

Thanks for sharing!

Well yes, it is an error in the local mesh... I wondered if anyone had this problem too?

It's so long ago that I installed Courcheval, I can't find any of the original documentation.

The last shot is not photoreal, just stock FS9 textures.

Forgot to include this one at LFQQ Lille-Lesquin, which sits nicely in the Nord-Pas de Calais VFR... I'll just slip it in here, eh?

Very nice and great color!

Is there a photoreal patch in the middle of the image (looks like part of the ski resort)?

Anyway it's nice to see you sticking with FS9 - still the best all-rounder in my opinion regarding realistic immersion

Yes the airport is a standalone scenery from LLH Créations, which has supplied many hours of extreme landings on that steep ramp of a runway!

Well, I have such a massive (and generally payware) sim world available, from Alsace to the Waikato, that really, I am most comfortable in the FS9.5 environment.

Very nice and great color!

Thanks HLJ, although of course lacking the resolution of your own wonderful shots of France VFR, I do have to maintain a little more altitude!

I have found a living forum for LLH in the meantime, and hope they might have a mesh fix available.

Just to finish the thought - I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this - Eric Majeraz from LLH Créations came back in response to my problem - it is caused by a conflict of installed sceneries, in the Eurw folder. Renaming some of the FL949150***.bgl files removed the default flatten which caused the hole.

I was impressed by the customer service after all this time, and am delighted with my newly revitalised Courcheval scenery!
