July 7, 200421 yr Does anyone know if there are keystrokes you can use to operate the default GPS in FS9 instead of using the mouse. The reason I am asking is that I have a add on control unit that you can program specific buttons with keystrokes making it easier to perform certain FS9 commands..John John B
July 7, 200421 yr I think that on most of the default panels you can use Shift+3 to get the GPS. If you look in the panel.cfg file, there should be a "Window" listing at the top; among these you should find the GPS. Whichever window number it's listed under, add one to that number and use Shift+#. (I think.) :-)Mike Tucson, AZ"You must be the change you wish to see in the world"--Mahatma Gandhi
July 7, 200421 yr If you mean operating the buttons on the GPS, not just popping up the window, I don't think they are assigned by default. Going to Options, Controls, Assignments then select All commands, scroll down to the GPS entries and see if they're defined - if not, you can set them to any free key - someone who has used your control unit may have some suggestions as to what to set them to...Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
