Has anyone ran 2048 resolution with the clouds? I am running 1024 across the board with no problem and was thinking about trying it.

Thanks,

Ron

1024 looks good for me. Not sure if 2048 is worth the horsepower.

That's me anyway.

2048 looks much better but it is significantly more demanding on your GPU. But, as long as you have a GTX560 and above, you should be fine.

I agree with Dave - I think the 1024 look just as good as the others and, IMHO, they are much more like what I see IRL. However graphics visuals are strictly in the eye of the beholder. Everyone sees them differently and everyone is correct - for them.

It depends on Your CPU, GPU and resolution used. I do not see any difference in IQ between 1024x1024 and 4K clouds, but I do see a huge difference in FPS value (2048x2048 brings the system to its knees), so I use 1024 res. version and still have slow-mo when OVC is overhead

mmm, more on your CPU, I have a GTX680 and with 2048 Clouds I loose 7-10 fps.
