As the subject states, anyone tried this yet on the W8 Release Candidate?

Nope but I am unsure why it would not work unless of course MS has completed shifted all the goal posts again............ Wait a minute this is MS we are talking about, so actually quite a good question. Seriously though MS state that W8 is "backward compatable" - my terminology - for legacy software used on the new system so not sure why using FSX in DX10 mode would not work on a W8x64 system.

Theoretically it should work, as Windows 7 and 8 are pretty much the same in how they execute code. The only difference is how the system uses available resources.

 

Oh, and also that stupid Metro UI.
