Greetings Aviators,

 

We are please to welcome Michal Rok of Vroute to finish off our week. He is going to share with us his background and development of Vroute, an online flight and planning tool. Michal will share with us the story on how he became the developer of vroute and how pilots can benefit today from it. Michal has been fascinated with aviation simulation since 1990, the times of Apache simulator on Atari 65XE. He developed his interests in parallel becoming an aviation engineer, a pilot and a programmer - eventually blending all three areas together to create an application for pilots. Vroute, originally created as a website for VATSIM divisions that would help pilots in flight preparation, is now 8 years old and has become probably the most extensive public source of flight plans in the world. We welcome Nichal and excited to hear more about his background and Vroute.

Maybe a lot of people are going to miss out due to a simple lack of having a clue what your talking about in how to listen in?

Holy cow... Thanks Jim, didnt even know that existed as I only use 2 forums here for FSX and hardware at the moment, and am still fairly new to AVSim and FSX in general.
