Not yet, we have a topic on our Flight1 forum announcing what is coming next. Have you tried the LWE on the server, it has little impact on FPS.

Cheryl

Agree with Cheryl. I am loathe to running apps in the background on FS PC and prefer to run on my 2nd PC.

However I do not notice any effect on FS performance with it running in the background and am now quite happy to leave it running where it is irrespective of any networked version in the future.

As a matter of fact the LWE has no measurable effect on FSX when running on the server, it is designed that way. We have always said, the client side option is NOT being provided for performance reasons, it is in preparation of future upgrades, namely the Live Weather Assistant and connections to other flight planners and navigation packages (for example, the excellent but expensive SkyDemon RW VFR Planner and Navigation program).

In fact one may argue that the LWE will run more efficiently on the server especially when the sophisticated Weather Smoothing option is available.

Stephen

That will be handy when flight planning as all my plan/routing software etc is on my 2nd PC but I am definately running the engine app on my FS PC fullstop.

In fact the only 2 things I have running on 2nd PC now are Radar Contact and occasionally Plan-G when flying VFR. Oh and my monitoring app when debugging/testing.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll just go ahead and buy it!

You won't regret it. I am currently only using the weather side of it but for me it is essential to FSX as FSUIPC! No way I can fly FSX without it now.
