October 22, 201213 yr I haven't explored this area in FSX before, so thought I'd give it a try. Took off from Rapid City and headed west for about ten minutes, then south into the heart of Black Hill country. Tileproxy makes this an enjoyable place to visit. Decided to fly Carenado's Cessna minus the wheel pants. First few shots were taken as I was departing Rapid City, the rest are in hill country. I visited the Black Hills once as a small child, close to 50 years ago. Don't remember anything at all from that trip, so Tileproxy will have to be my experience of the area. Enjoy! John

October 22, 201213 yr Great screens mate question about tileproxy though can you run autogen? No, Autogen doesn't work when Tileproxy is running. The reason for this is simple, each Tileproxy texture is unique since it's essentially the real world mapped to FSX. Airport buildings do show up, but if you're using FSX service pack 2 there's a bug where buildings will sometimes vanish and reappear, depending on your flight path. The bug is only there when autogen is absent, which is probably why it was never caught during testing of FSX SP2. I enjoy using Tileproxy--for me it offers an incredibly real experience. From time to time I fly using the default FSX scenery, especially when I am flying around dawn or dusk and I am more interested in the colors of the clouds and the shadows on the terrain. I have a few shots saved which I'll post soon using the default scenery. John
