Sudden blurry texture problem!?!

Hi Scott,Just curious... did you try cleaning your system of all video drivers and then reinstalling a set you know in the past worked for you? Most folks would be amazed how video card drivers can get FUBAR'd because the system is cluttered with old driver files. This is a great way (albeit not quick) to clean the system of old drivers: http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?threadid=8053Cheers,Greg

That's just what the email I got from vilk said...I did roll-back but hadn't uninstalled/reinstalled. I'm going to give that a go tonight...Thanks!

what Chris said. Don't get lazy like I did a few times and then wonder why it dosn't work, hehe. It's a process updating drivers, not an event. It takes a while, and you have to do it right. Well, now you know. Let us know how it works, or not....billg

Well, I've spend a couple of days working on this now, and I think I've gotten back to a point where texture sharpness is acceptable, but I still think it's worse than it was a month ago. The mesh loading errors are gone (though I do see blue seems more frequently than I used to).The two things that seemed to help the most were reducing the bios AGP aperture setting from 256 to 64mb (128 seems no different than 64, so I figured I'd save the memory for other things!) and running RegClean. I reinstalled forceware 61.21 being sure I followed the driver cleaner instructions exactly. That seemed to help just a bit more...so there I am.Thanks again!sg
