October 23, 201213 yr Hello All ! Not sure if this is the right place to seek help, but we can try. ha ! On the win7 side Recording set up to Mic Default play Playback PCI Card Now, on FSX I changed the sound setup Sound goes to my external device (in my case my 42" Plasma TV) to handle Engine Cockpit, environment. Voice goes to Internal PCI Card which handle Communication. so fare so good Launching FSX I'm in my Parking spot, engine is off, but I get terrible noise. Something like I'm in wind Tunnel, or at list 2 Huge Multi- Engine Birds are running full throttle next to me , Starting my Engine, & I can hardly hear it ..... frustrating ,,,, Any idea will be highly appreciated ! Yair
October 23, 201213 yr I just guess, it it possible to have the mic too close to the speakers... What happened if You mute the mic or reduce the gain? Bartłomiej Ender
October 23, 201213 yr Author nothing at all, I did mute the Mic & still this noise, I need to move the Engine slider all the way to the left, & move it back just before starting the Engine ... & when the Engine is running I can hardly hear it .... it's totally weird & driving me nuts
