Very Dim NAV Lights

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, meanwhile, I've been flying my NGX in all different types of conditions, but the NAV light never seems to light up correctly. I have double checked that it was synced up correctly (AKA button pushed) but every single time I go and check the NAV light you cannot even tell it's on, even in a night time setting.

The white light on the trailing edge of the wing on the winglet (if applicable) does work properly, as do the rest of the lights.

Note the aircraft lights PMDG is using are custom made and they don't "shine" compared to the default FSX airplane lights. Why PMDG took this approach has been discussed many times in different posts.

I recon your problem as not a problem, it's just what was coded by the developer. Provided you have all switches configured correctly and you see the white nav light on the trailing edge of the wing, there must be red and green light too. During the night you can see the reflection of those on the ground while on the ramp. If you can post a screenshot of your switch configuration and the plane exterior during night we would be able to tell you whether that's what you should see or you really have a problem.
