Cessna Citation - new version not working

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I've had Flight1 Cessna Citation, v1.3 working fine for several months now. I was made aware that they have a new update v1.7. I downloaded and installed using the FSX2Prepar3D tool.

Every thing installed fine, nav aids, just all of it. Upon selecting the aircraft, loaded fine, BUT, NO VC - period. Have 2 D Cockpit, outside views fine, but no vc. I did disable the Migration Tool first, and installed

into FSX, just in case the Citation needed to use FSX files.

I did make sure any files in the root of Prepar3D, Effects, Fonts, Gauges, and sound folders were ok.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much and have a blessed one.

As I move into P3D I will just have to leave those who do not follow in the dust. The platform is more important than any single developer or add-on. I can easily move on and shed no tear.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU

Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Hi folks,

I deleted all of the Cessna Citation files and moved over all of my v1.3 files from a cloned drive.

I now have the 1.3v working fine again.

Me "also" feels that Flight1 has done something to a file or file structure to prevent the later versions of the Citation to work correctly with P3D.

You know, I think as the P3D users keep building forces, those vendors and resellers will come back and really want our business.......

Too Late for me....not interested.

Thanks so much for your replies.
