November 6, 201213 yr Hello, what are the reasons for the speedbrake to not deploy? i arm them every time, but yesterday when landed they were not deployed. any suggestions? thanks! Daniel choen

Normal logic is thrust levers at idle, weight on at least one main gear and spoilers pre armed,if not armed activation of reverse should deploy them as a backup. A normal reason for non deployment is floating the aircaft and in FS9/FSX not having your throttle correctly calibrated for idle thrust. Rob Prest

Autobrake are completely independent from speed brakes operation. They must deploy if onditions are met. As Rob told these conditions are: Main gear on ground, thrust in idle or reverse and lever armed or main gear on ground, thrust in reverse and lever not armed If thrust will be advanced the speedbrakes will not deploy, so, check the calibration. November 6, 201213 yr Try using keyboard F1 or F2 (keeping it pushed) keys and see if the spoilers goes up. Regards Andrea Daviero
