November 7, 201213 yr Like most of us, I have been waiting for the 777. Then one important question comes to my mind is how well it will perform on my system. I own the 747 from PMDG and I got around 20 fsp when landing in a busy airport which is pretty good in my opinion. I heard NGX is FSX native so it is more FSP friendly, but I dont own one. So does NGX really out perform 747 in term of FSP? and I can foresee the new 777 will perform better than the 747? Danny F
November 7, 201213 yr I got worse FPS in the 747 than I do in the NGX. In fact I got the same FPS in the LDS 763 and 744 (10-20) whereas the NGX I get 20-30 (30 is my laptop having a good day and no scenery!) Ryan said the same about the 747. They expect the same if BETTER from the 777. You'll be fine; trust me :-) - Luke Pabari

November 8, 201213 yr Installing and tuning the PMDG products over the years has caused us customers to spend great amounts of time tuning our systems. I am not blaming PMDG as I guess they have been on the same FSX learning curve as we have. I am, though, hoping that the release of the PMDG 777 will be accompanied by a greater level of detail re the tuning actions recommended by PMDG based on their use of varying machines during systems testing. If they can give fairly detailed recommendations then it would save us flyers from many hours of agonising! November 8, 201213 yr Commercial Member I get better performance in the 747 than ngx. I am sure the fps will be improved in the 747 and 777 over the ngx., Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK
