I am sure you may have seen this, but posting for those who may have missed it. Here is why the threshold may be displaced.

The threshold at this airport is displaced...quite a few hundred feet actually.

There's already a lengthy post about it in the Hangar Talk forum.

Apparently this is no longer the case. I found a pic on forum that shows what it looks like now.

Nice find, Ozzie... You know what just occured to me? Yes, I just had an epiphany! haha Just as pilots can control the runway lighting at some airports from inside the aircraft, it would be nice at airports such as this one, to have swinging arms (just like railroad crossings) which could be controlled by pilots as they are coming in on final.

You won't believe this...

Not two minutes ago I was contemplating the very same thing (when looking the pic)... but wondering how to implement it (activation).

PCL is done by clicking the mike 3-5-7 times (lo-med-hi Intensity) on the CTAF... as you're saying... what to do for this is what I was wondering...

Edit:

Efrain...

I was so  when I saw we were thinking the same thing... is why i posted essentially what you said about the PCL (I really hadn't read all you wrote).
