New CYYZ from Oryxsim

Featured Replies

A while ago, I pre-ordered the new CYYZ (Toronto Pearson) airport from Oryxsim as i am not that happy with the present add on CYYZ that i am using and the pre order price was right.

Has anybody had any experience with this Dev's work?

Thanks,

Rick Hobbs

I don't own any of their stuff yet, but it all looks very well done.

Where did you preorder from?

Cheers

Lee

I have their Kelowna scenery, and I like it very much, wouldn't hesitate to buy another scenery from them. I will probably get CYYZ my self when it's done, but pre ordering is not my thing.

Seems like there Castlegar has a problem while using UTX that they can't seem to fix. Not to sure what to think about YYZ.

Hey, Thanks for the replies. Yes i have seen the progress shots on Facebook and that is what really sold me. The only point of concern to me really, is performance i guess (that old FPS hit question).

I am using the only other payware alternative right now and i am not happy with the performance hit with that one. However, if the quality is there, it helps you accept a bit more when it comes to performance hits and i got it for $18 before the pre order went on hold.

Regards,

Edit: I found them by googling Orysxim FSX when i pre ordered.

Well rick. All i can say is i will keep in touch with you. And let you know what the fps rate or hit is when i get the next beta from Florian. other than that i am getting pretty good frames now. But that is with the basic scenery! Hey has gotten further on the scenery since last month. hey has added a lot more scenery to the out side of rwy 23. Man i can't wait to test it hopefully this week.

It definitely looks great, but advertising it as "Summer 2012" and "release maybe even before the end of August" has kinda thrown me off. Regardless, I will buy it.

We change the Ground textures and went with Hi-resolution ground texture's instead. So that set us back from the Summer 2012 release. Release is unknown at this time. Just keep checking Facebook for more updates as they become avilable.
