November 11, 201213 yr I have downloaded the new voice packs, but no installation instructions are included. The installer asks for an exe-file and I guess this is mce.exe, but who knows for sure?
November 11, 201213 yr Commercial Member I guess we should have digitally signed "InstallVoice.exe". All it does is create a co-pilot folder inside \Multi Crew Experience\Voices\Recorded\Copilot\ folder, then copies whatever dll (and "word.map" for FO voices) that sit next to it. You could do that manually without using the "InstallVoice.exe" program. For FO Clive, create a folder named \Clive\ inside \Multi Crew Experience\Voices\Recorded\Copilot\ and copy foClive.dll and "word.map" to it. For FO William, create a folder named \William\ inside \Multi Crew Experience\Voices\Recorded\Copilot\ and copy foWilliam.dll and "word.map"to it. For FO Jean-Claude, create a folder named \Jean-Claude\ inside \Multi Crew Experience\Voices\Recorded\Copilot\ and copy foJean-Claude.dll and "word.map" to it. For Mechanic Clive, create a folder named \Clive\ inside \Multi Crew Experience\Voices\Recorded\Mechanic\ and copy mClive.dll to it. Go to the <Command> tab of the user interface, click <Change> button next to FO, and you should see the new voices listed. There is no un-install program as it's a matter of just deleting the newly created folders. In addition to making the main package lighter (the voices don't ship in it), you only install them once. When time comes to update MCE, you will only need to un-install and re-install MCE. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

Hello Michael, yes just point the installer to your MCE.exe and that's it! Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
