November 12, 201213 yr Downloaded and installed REX Essential Plus Over... whatever...!!! Took off near Vancouver for a short hop. Metar was BKN at 2200 ft and I really liked the despiction of low bank of fog. Went for an IFR in the cloud then out to return to the airport. The whole flight weather was very consistent with no abrupt change. Will definitely explore the others functions of the product ... November 12, 201213 yr I just got the upgrade to Essential, too, and all I can say is wow! One thing, though, is that sometimes the cumulus clouds look like little patches of cotton (especially when their low-lying, sitting right on mountainsides). Has anybody found a really natural-looking cloud texture? -Bram Osterhout
