What's Your Favorite Tailhook Aircraft?

Featured Replies

Mine are Dino Cattaneo's Goshawk (freeware) and the VRS F-18 (payware).

What else is out there worth mentioning?

I second those two. I also like the Iris F-14, but it's not at all up to par with the VRS bird.

If it isn't Flying Stations' Fairey Swordfish I'd say Vertigo's SBD Dauntless.

Oh yeah, a few vintage planes. Keep 'em coming!

And just as we are talking about, there's a brand new excellent FSX version of the Grumman E1B Tracer by Milton Shupe and the SOH team (http://eaglerotorcra...com/fsx_e1b.php). The download is available right here in the AVSIM library: http://library.avsim...ac&DLID=172987. If they continue like that we might be lucky and see an E-2 Hawkeye someday :)
