Navigation lights problem SkySpirit 777 model update

Featured Replies

Hey, i updated my old POSKY SP2A model to the new SkySpirit one. But now the navigation lights don't work. I added in only 2 new xml's though, PkyFlasher and Pky_AdvInit as i read through the xml coding and the other xml's starting with SS are the same as the ones i had on my older POSKY aircraft. I have also added the PkyFlasher xml into the panel.cfg file. I have also updated my POSKY utility and added in the cabin textures into the texture folder.

This is because the navigation lights are connected to the model itself right? Could you please help me get them to work.

I have also asked on their facebook page. Any help would be appreciated. This is for the 777-200ER by the way.

Hello

I have noticed problems like this with some SS aircraft as well I.E. no navs and sometimes beacons .

I cant be bothered to mess about,so if I want any 777s 767s, etc I look for original POSKy versions instead.

Boeingsta,

The main advantages to the newer Skyspirit 777 models are additional animations and cabin lights. I suggest that, instead of modifying an existing POSKY installed aircraft with a newer model and modifications to the various posky folders and VC entries, you download a complete Skyspirit 777-200ER setup (quite a few available on AVSIM) and then install your existing textures into the new aircraft. Among other things, I believe the [lights] entries in the FDE for the newer models may be different.

I've had problems with using older POSKY textures mainly when activating the cabin lights -- not sure if there is a fix for this without redoing the textures.

Mike
